Fabric Scrap Garland

Hello wonderful readers! It feels so good to be back. I have been so so busy getting ready to go away to school which, I am very excited for! I leave September 14th and it is going by way too fast! So, in the spirit of going back to school and me moving away for the first time I made a project for my dorm! I made a fabric scrap garland. I have seen them all over for the longest time, I realize I am a little late in the game but hey they're still cute right?!

It is fairly small but, considering I will be in a dorm room I think its just right!

The string pictured above is just what I had on hand and it worked okay but wasn't the easiest to work with.

Love how colorful it is, and I'd be late to the party too because I still haven't made one of these yet and want to. Not sure for what, but they are always so fun and festive looking. Hope it really brightens up your dorm and that all goes well as you head off to school!

wow, what a cute idea for a dorm room and a great way to use up scraps! I came over from the JAQ link up. Would like to invite you over to my craft/recipe party going on now. I've been hosting recipes for over a year and crafts for just a few weeks, so we are gathering momentum, would love to have you a part of it! http://www.nap-timecreations.com/2012/08/five-layer-oreo-dessert-and-tasteful.html
